Compatibility to earlier versions
The device data update can update a certain version of the software product only. For DDS and GDC the previous versions (up to GU9) of the device data update require the correspondingly current service pack. As of GU10 only the current sub-status of these programs is required. Device data from maybe not installed service packs are installed by the device data update.
