Channel setting of analog modules does not become effective (corrected from V3.9)

Response of the new version:
The channel setting of the analog I/O modules EPM-S4xx and EPM-S5xx connected to the backplane bus of the controller becomes effective.
 
 
What happens?
A change of the channel settings of the analog I/O modules EPM-S4xx and EPM-S5xx does not become effective.

When does the problem occur?
Changes of the channel settings of the analog I/O modules EPM-S4xx and EPM-S5xx connected to the backplane bus which have been carried out online by means of the PLC Designer are accepted but do not become effective.

EPM-S404 and EPM-S405 modules are not affected by this function restriction.

Which products are affected?
PLC Designer from V3.1
EPM-S4xx and EPM-S5xxx (analog I/O compound modules of the I/O System 1000)

Possible diagnostics:
None

Short-term measures/recommendations:
Select the channel settings of the analog I/O modules offline and log on with the PLC Designer afterwards. In this case the settings are transferred again.

Evaluation:
If the channel settings of analog I/O modules are changed online by means of the PLC Designer these settings do not become effective.
