Online Change leads to increased runtime (corrected from V3.12)
Corrected from:
PLC Designer V3.12
Response of the new version:
Loading a changed web visualisation to the controller via Online Change may lead to a jitter of approx. 150?s in the task with the highest priority.
What happens?
The runtime of the task with the highest priority is increased by up to 10ms. This can be seen in the task monitor of the PLC Designer.
When does this behaviour occur?
When changing the web visualisation and loading the changes to the controller via Online Change, the runtime of the task with the highest priority may be increased by up to 10ms as a result.
Which products are affected?
PLC Designer from V3.8 3200 C, p500 from V3.7 with web visualisation
Short-term measures/recommendations:
Do not perform an Online Change after changing the web visualisation.
Evaluation:
Changes in the web visualisation may lead to a runtime increase (jitter) of up to 10ms in the task with the highest priority when performing an Online Change. In motion applications, this may lead to the standstill of the machine. Normally, the jitter is lower than 100?s.
