Response of the new version:
When copying the below-mentioned devices via the clipboard to another project, the device parameters are also copied to the target project.
What happens?
The parameters of the following devices are reset to their default settings:
- LM_FreeEncoder
- LM_Virtual_Drive
- BeltKinematic_2dof
- Delta2_2dof
- Palletizier_4dof
- Portal_3dof
- Scara_3dof
- Scara_4dof
When does this behaviour occur?
If the above-mentioned devices are copied via the clipboard from one PLC project to another PLC project, the parameters of the devices will be reset to their default settings in the target project. I.e. the parameter settings of the devices will not be copied. I.e. the parameter settings of the devices will not be copied.
Which products are affected?
PLC Designer V3.9 and higher
Short-term measures:
nter the values differing from the default settings manually after copying has been completed.
Evaluation/recommendations:
Via the clipboard, objects (e.g. inserted devices) of a PLC project can be copied to other projects. When copying the above devices, the parameter values of the devices will not be copied.
