?Corrected from:
PLC Designer V3.9.1 (service pack 1)
Response of the new version:
FAST Motion parameters are not accepted correctly even if axis references were copied, imported or updated before or Motion devices were shifted in the device tree.
What happens?
Changing a FAST Motion parameter has no effects although the parameter value is correctly displayed online by the PLC Designer or the EASY Starter.
When does this behaviour occur?
The above-described behaviour occurs if ...
an axis reference (a node underneath a Motion device, e.g. i700 servo inverter, in the device tree of the PLC Designer project) has been copied, or
an axis reference has been overwritten by importing a different axis reference, or
an axis reference has been updated using the "Update Device" menu command, or
a Motion device, e.g. i700 servo inverter, has been shifted in the device tree using drag & drop.
Which products are affected?
PLC Designer 3.9
Short-term measures:
Delete the EtherCAT node concerned and insert it again into the PLC Designer project. To copy an axis reference, always copy the entire Motion device or the complete EtherCAT node.
Evaluation/recommendations:
Due to the above function restriction, changed FAST Motion parameter values will not become effective under the above-described conditions. The function restriction does not occur during machine operation.
