Motor commissioning i700: Parameter display range is exceeded when loading motor data from the catalogue (corrected from PLC Designer V3.12.0)

Response of the new version:
In future, the engineering tool will ensure that at least the limit value will be written, when writing values outside the display range of a parameter. As before, a corresponding note will be displayed in the protocol window of the engineering tool.

What happens?
Some parameters of the i700 servo inverter will not be overwritten with the values from the motor catalogue or the values calculated from these values, if a value outside the display range should have been written to a parameter. The parameter retains its previous value.
In this case, a corresponding note will be displayed in the protocol window of the engineering tool. 
 
When does this behaviour occur?
The behaviour occurs, when commissioning the motor by means of an engineering tool (Easy Starter, PLC Designer) and using the catalogue selection for motor parameter setting.
The described behaviour only occurs with very few motor types.

Short-term measures:
If the calculated value cannot be written because it is outside the display range of the parameter, manually set the current controller gain to the maximum value.
 
Evaluation/recommendations:
The engineering tool calculates the current controller gain setting by means of a calculation algorithm based on certain motor data.
Experience has shown that for motors for which a current controller gain above the maximum parameter value has been calculated you only have to select the maximum current controller gain to ensure smooth operation. Settings above the maximum value of the i700 would not have any significant effect on the performance of the drive.
