Error analysis with core dump

Function extension:

In online mode, the Debug>Core Dump>Create Core Dump menu command can be used to create a memory dump of the application data (= core dump), when the PLC application stops at a breakpoint or an exception has occurred. The created core-dump file (*.core) will be stored in the project directory. If a project archive is generated after creating a memory dump, the core-dump file can be stored in the archive via a corresponding option.
After this, the memory dump can be loaded into the project in offline mode. The PLC Designer will then display the online view at the time of the memory dump with the corresponding data and values.

If an exception occurs when the controller is running and no PLC Designer is connected to the controller, a core-dump file will be automatically created in the root directory. If this file is saved before the controller is switched off, it can also be used for offline analysis in the PLC Designer.
