PROFINET communication is not possible after update (corrected from V3.13)

?Corrected from:
PLC Designer V3.13

Response of the new version:

Updating the 'PROFINET I/O device' in the PLC Designer project does not have any effect on the PROFINET communication.

The restriction when copying PROFINET I/O modules via the Windows clipboard to the PLC Designer project (see below) has not yet been corrected.

What happens?
The PROFINET master cannot build up any connection to the Lenze controller via the optional MC-PND interface (PROFINET device).

When does this behaviour occur?
The above-described behaviour may occur if
  • PLC Designer V3.12 was used to open a project created with an older PLC Designer version and the entire project or only the 'PROFINET I/O device' has been updated.

or

  • in PLC Designer V3.12, a PROFINET I/O module was copied via the Windows clipboard from a project of an older PLC Designer version to the current project.
Which products are affected?
PLC Designer from V3.12

Short-term measures:
If the function restriction occurs delete the 'PROFINET I/O device' from the PLC Designer project and add it again via the Add Device context menu.

Evaluation/recommendations:
After updating the 'PROFINET I/O device', it is not possible to establish a connection via PROFINET to the PROFINET master. When taking the remedy described under 'Short-term measures', the variable mapping defined in the PROFINET I/O modules has to be entered again.
