In offline mode, no value is indicated for read-only parameters. Only in online mode, the current value will be read from the device and displayed.
For writable parameters which do not have a predefined default value, no value but a question mark will be displayed in offline mode. As long as the parameter has a question mark, no value will be written to it when the project is downloaded. Only if a value has been selected for the parameter in offline mode, the parameter will be set to the selected value when the project is downloaded. In the online representation, the current value will be read from the device and displayed.
