Function extension:
The CANopen Manager supports slave-to-slave communication. With the new 'Process by CANopenManager' checkbox in the 'PDO' tab of a CAN slave you can select for each PDO if the PDO is to be used for master-to-slave or slave-to-slave transmission. If the checkbox is deactivated, the CANopen Manager will set the communication parameters in the CAN slave, but, in this case, it will not be possible to access the process data from the PLC application.

Application
With this function extension, the controller transfers the configured CAN communication settings into the CAN slave without exchanging process data with the CAN slave. I.e. if the identifiers (COB-ID) of the Receive and Send PDOs are set appropriately, you can establish communication between CAN slaves.
