Function extensions - VisiWinNET Professional from 6.5.4.1 to 6.5.5:
Development VisiWinNET Professional:
- Visual Studio: Support for Visual Studio 2015.
- New function "Clean form serialization" to remove obsolete control properties and initializations.
The function can be called up via the Project Explorer and simplifies the transfer of projects from older VisiWinNET and Visual Studio versions. - VisiWinNET Toolbar: The VisiWinNET Toolbars in Visual Studio are now language-switchable.
- Variable browsing: The comparison options used by the variable browser are now configurable.
- Variables Browse Compare operation via 'Alias'.
- Compare variable operation using 'ItemID'.
- Compare variable operation via 'Alias' and 'ItemID'. (default). - Browse variables: Variable min and max values are no longer overwritten when browsing.
- Variable selection: The selection dialogs for variables, texts and rights can now be called up via the context menu of the pro- jector scorer.
Control Elements :
- ImageList: ImageList has got the new ImageSource property. ImageSource is of type String and contains a path relative to the project path for an external graphic file.
If this property is not equal 'Null' or 'Empty', the external graphic is loaded into the Image property. - Printhandler: The dialog for configuring the printer now lists the printers registered on the device under Windows CE. This also makes it possible to print to printers with special drivers.
- TrendChart: TrendChart: Zooming also occurred with the smallest mouse movements caused by a "shaky" operation. Thus, the TrendChart zoomed into a tiny cutout. Zooming is now limited to a minimum size of the zoom rectangle.

Trend-, Alarm- and Logging-System: New option "Empty Windows write cache" in Trend-, Alarm- and Logging-System.
On some hardware under Windows Embedded with UPS replacement by write protection, the WIndows cache prevents the data from being written to the hard disk or SSD, so that the data loss is lost when the voltage drops.
With this new option, the "FlushFileBuffers" function is called by Windows after each closing of the data files, which clears the Windows cache for the respective file. This makes the writing safer but also costs performance.
Language switching: LanguageChange event is now only triggered if the language does not actually change, for example if the language is set to the currently valid one.
Variable system: Field data in structure members posed problems, since member names of the type like "<.Member [34]> are interpreted as meaning that the field name is an internal VisiWinNET name, but if the PLC address is already set up, the error message" Unknown variable is to be logged in. "The variable name parser has now been made more intelligent and now checks whether it is an internal field name or not.
Trends: With a Trendviewer application you can now look at trends from different projects.
