Crash when inserting logic or using the find and replace function (corrected from V3.18)

?Corrected from:
PLC Designer V3.18

Response of the new version:
Inserting large logic blocks with non-declared variables or executing the 'Find/Replace' command does not lead to a PLC Designer crash.

What happens?
The PLC Designer no longer responds to user inputs. Changes made in the PLC project can no longer be saved.

When does this behaviour occur?
The above-described behaviour may occur if a large logic block with non-declared variables is inserted from the clipboard in the programming language editor or a non-declared variable is inserted in a large logic block using the 'Find/Replace' command.

Which products are affected?
PLC Designer from V3.0

Short-term measures:
Go to the options (menu command Tools>Options) in the category 'Smart Coding' and deactivate the 'Declare unknown variables automatically (AutoDeclare)' checkbox.

Evaluation/recommendations:
When inserting or finding and replacing non-declared variables in the programming language editor (e.g. ST editor), the PLC Designer may crash. An applicative solution is described under 'Short-term measures'. Please regularly create backup copies of your project. For this, activate e.g. the corresponding function in the options of the PLC Designer (menu command Tools>Options, category: 'Load and Save').
