Software installation - How to update the Controller firmware to version V3.21.3:
  1. Save the following zip file to an optional directory on your computer:
    Firmware Update_Controller V3.21.3 (270 MB)
  2. Unpack the zip file via context function 'All extract' into any directory on your PC.
  3. Connect a USB stick to your workstation.
  4. Unless already available: Create a \Backup folder in the USB stick's root folder.
  5. Copy the InitUpdate_Ce_Vxxxx folder including all subfolders from the unpacked zip file to the \Backup directory on your USB stick.
  6. Start the latest version of the ?Backup&Restore? software.
  7. Select the USB stick.
  8. Select the Restore/Update tab.
  9. Click Update. In the case of an Update action, a controller safety backup will be created first to ensure that (in the event of an error) the original state can be reconstructed.
After this, you will find a file called IPCBackup_xxxx on the USB stick. On the USB stick, there must be sufficient memory space available for this file.
  10. Select the InitUpdate_Ce_ Vxxxx update (see below screenshot).

  11. Click <Start>.
  12. After completion of the update, connect the USB stick to your controller.
  13. Boot the controller. The firmware will be installed.
  14. Status LEDs of the controller are used for signaling the current operating state.
When carrying out an update, ?Backup & Restore? controls Error and Status 1 LEDs:

?Aktive ?- ?blinking green
?Error ?Blinking red ?-
