The following error message appears when accessing controller files with the PLC Designer:
Error while transferring file.
or
Invalid file.
When does this behaviour occur?
The behaviour occurs when using the 'Files' tab of the controller to transfer the EtherCAT master files ('ecat_master_0_boot.xml' or 'ecat_master_0.xml' from the directory '\USBStorage\IPC\PLC' or '\SDCard\IPC\PLC') in the PLC Designer
If the file was stored on the controller before, it will be deleted after that.

Access the EtherCAT master files via FTP.
Evaluation/recommendations:
When the PLC Designer transfers the PLC project including the EtherCAT master files to the controller when logging in to the controller, no error messages occur. The function restriction occurs when accessing the EtherCAT master files via the 'Files' tab with the PLC Designer. The files can be accessed via FTP.
