Response of the new version:
When updating an i950 ES to the same or a later version, the 'Safety parameter set' object is no longer deleted.
All other restrictions described below still exist.
What happens?
When updating an i950 Extended Safety device to the same or a different version and replacing an i950 Basic Safety device by an i950 ES, the 'Safety parameter set' object is deleted.
When updating an i950 BS to an i950 ES, the internal slave under Systembus_Master is not updated to i950 ES InternalSlave in the project tree.
When updating an i950 ES to an i950 BS, the internal slave under Systembus_Master is not updated to i950 BS InternalSlave in the project tree.
When updating an i950 ES to an i950 BS, the 'Safety parameter set' object is not deleted, as expected.
When does this behaviour occur?
When updating an i950 device to the same or to a different version, all 3 forms of behaviour may occur.
The behaviour described under 4. also occurs when updating the i950 ES as an EtherCAT slave under the EtherCAT master in the project tree.

PLC Designer V03.17.00
Short-term measures:
Use the 'Add object' function in the context menu (left mouse click) of the device and manually add the 'Safety parameter set' object again. The object can also be manually deleted.
Manually update the internal slave to i950 BS.
