Function extension:
The i550 frequency inverter can be inserted as a motion axis via CiA402 into a PLC Designer project. The i550 supports the CiA mode 'Velocity mode'.
For using the function blocks from the FAST Motion libraries or the FAST technology module libraries for the i550, the 'Axis mode' of the i550 has to be changed from 'Simple' to 'Standard' in the PLC project.
The following position feedback systems can be used:
- HTL encoder connected to the i550
- HTL, TTL or SSI encoder connected to a Lenze I/O 1000 module.
