Device Repository: Device descriptions are assigned to the wrong fieldbus (corrected from V3.24)

Corrected from:
PLC Designer V3.24

Response of the new version:
The device descriptions contained in the PLC Designer device repository are assigned to the correct fieldbus and are located in the folder that matches the device.

What happens?
In the Device Repository ('Tools>Device Repository' menu command), device descriptions are assigned to the wrong fieldbus, e.g. the 'i500' folder in the 'Fieldbuses\CANopen\Remote Device\i500' folder may contain some EtherCAT devices and vice versa.

When does this behaviour occur?
The behaviour depends on the order in which the device descriptions are installed. The device descriptions are randomly located in the wrong fieldbus folder.

Which products are affected?
PLC Designer from 3.0

Short-term measures:
Take all fieldbuses into account, when searching for installed device descriptions in the Device Repository.

Evaluation/recommendations:
The function restriction does not have any effect on inserting new devices in the device tree. For instance, when adding a new device to an EtherCAT node, all installed device descriptions will be offered for selection, irrespective of their location in the Device Repository. The function restriction occurs in almost all installations.
