The following error messages occur when compiling in simulation mode:
C0046: Identifier 'uiPacketSize' not defined
C0018: 'uiPacketSize' is no valid assignment target
When does the behaviour occur?
The behaviour occurs when compiling with controller types c300, p300, 3200C, p500 or 3241C with existing network variable lists in simulation mode, e.g. when logging in.

PLC Designer
Short-term measures:
Remove the network variable lists from the project for using the simulation mode.
Evaluation / recommendations:
The function restriction only occurs if the simulation mode (menu 'Online' > 'Simulation') has been activated in the PLC Designer.
