What happens?
Although the PLC Designer is connected online to the controller (logged in), the <Diagnosis> button is greyed out in the 'FAST_System_Diagnosis' object of the device tree. I.e. the diagnostic web page of the controller cannot be called from the PLC Designer.
 
When does the behaviour occur?
The behaviour described above occurs if 'localhost' has been set as the IP address in the active gateway (see object 'Device', tab 'Communication').

PLC Designer from V3.24

Short-term measures:
Select the active gateway in the object 'Device' tab 'Communication'. Open the context menu with the right mouse button and click on the menu item 'Edit Gateway'. Enter the IP address of the controller in the 'IP Address' field. Log into the controller via this gateway. The <Diagnosis> button is only active.

Evaluation / recommendations:
The default setting for gateways in the PLC Designer means that the diagnostic web page of the controller cannot be opened from the PLC Designer. An application solution is described under Short-term measures.
