Response of the new version:
When starting a drive controller 8400 or 9400 on the CAN bus of a Gateway x750, a red exclamation mark appears.
Error messages can be seen in the logbook. Various objects cannot be written.
When does the behaviour occur?
When starting a CAN bus with EtherCAT/CAN gateway x750 to which the drive controllers 8400 or 9400 are connected.
Which products are affected?
Gateway EtherCAT/CAN x750 (all versions)
Short-term measures:
The red exclamation mark can be ignored. The drive controller is in operational mode.
Alternatively, "No initialisation" can be set in the CAN settings of the 8400 or 9400.
This means that no initialisation telegrams (PDO mapping, heartbeat, node guarding,...) are transmitted to the drive controller.
To be able to make this setting, the "Expert settings" setting must be activated beforehand.
Evaluation / recommendations:
The specified objects cannot be described for the drive controllers.
No remedy is planned for this behaviour.
